Year 2 trip to Eureka children's museum
Class: Year 2B Year: 2025 - 2026
Year 2 had a fantastic day out at Eureka! Children’s Museum this week. The children spent the day exploring the museum’s interactive galleries, discovering how everyday things work, experimenting with hands-on science activities, and enjoying the chance to play and learn in a new environment.
A highlight of the trip was taking part in a special workshop called 'The Gross Lab'. During this session, the children learned all about the human body in a fun and engaging way. They investigated how different body systems work, explored some brilliantly “gross” scientific facts, and took part in activities that brought their classroom learning to life.
The pupils represented the school beautifully and returned full of excitement, new knowledge, and plenty of stories to share. It was a memorable day that supported their science learning and sparked lots of curiosity!
