Year 1 have been learning all about numbers and place value this term, following the. We have been exploring numbers within 10, learning to count forwards and backwards, compare groups, and understand one more and one less. The children have used lots of concrete resources such as counters, cubes, and number tracks to help them build strong number sense. We have worked both in groups and independently to solve problems and explain our thinking. Next term, we will continue to practise and build fluency with our number bonds to 10. Well done, Year 1, for all your fantastic effort and enthusiasm in maths!
