Science Investigation-April 2025

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 5C Year: 2024 - 2025

As part of our Biology topic on plants in science, today we went outside to look at the shapes and structures of plants. Back in the classroom we will discuss the function sof parts of the plant. Our school grounds has many different varieties of plants ranging from wild plants such as, daisies and dandelions to garden plants like daffodils and forget me nots. We also have lots of fruit plants growing, such as, strawberries, gooseberries and rhubarb.

Great observations and sketching today 5C.

This was our questions to consider when we next do Science.

How do wild flowers and plants get to be in the wild, when no-one really plants them?
