Religious Education (Understanding the World) in Nursery helps young children begin to explore ideas about themselves, others, and the world around them. Through stories, songs, celebrations, and simple discussions, children learn about different beliefs, values, and traditions in an age-appropriate and inclusive way. RE encourages curiosity, kindness, and respect, helping children understand that people may have different ways of life while sharing common feelings and experiences. It supports their personal, social, and emotional development and helps build a foundation for understanding diversity as they grow.
