Lesson: History

Class: Year 4R Year: 2025 - 2026

Yesterday, 4R had a fantastic time at Manchester Museum. We started the day in the Living Worlds exhibition before moving onto Fossils and Dinosaurs, where we got to meet Stan the Trex! We then had chance to visit their temporary exhibition Triceratops: Eat, Roam, Repeat where we had to dig for dinosaur bones, held a real dinosaur scale and practised walking like a dinosaur!

In the afternoon, we had our Ancient Egyptian workshop, which we have been learned about in History! We had to decide which ancient artefact was the most important based on material, beauty or rarity. We explored the Egypt exhibition with our guide Mattie and got the chance to see a real mumified body which was over 2000 years old!
