M6 Theatre Linking Project Day

Class: Year 4H Year: 2025 - 2026

Today, 4H went to the M6 Theatre for the first session of our linking project with St Lukes Primary School in Heywood. The day started with us meeting our linking buddies and having a few ice breaker tasks. We discussed with our linking buddies what our favourite things were and then we practised mirroring each others actions. We then watched the play 'Little Gift' which was amazing! The show included some really funny parts like when Ted fell off the bed through dancing too much! After a lunch picnic with our linking buddies, we had a drama workshop where we created freeze frames to go in the play. We were then joined by Nic and Ted to perform our freeze frames infront of the other groups. Everyone came away from today with smiles on their faces and some hugs were shared at the end of the day. We looking forward to seeing our linking buddies again soon!
