Today, we had a fantatsic trip to the Catalyst Museum. We started our day with a workshop all about light! We explored the different sources of light and the many animals and plants that make their own light. Afterwards, we looked at ourselves in infared. Later in the day, we moved our learning towards fossils, rocks and volcanoes. We created our own volcanoes using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. What happened when we mixed these together? Then, we looked at the different types of rocks and created our own fossil. What a great trip!
