In Nursery, we are always developing our communication, language, and literacy skills. We talk with our friends as we independently choose our learning, and every three weeks we explore a new topic book. We take part in activities such as retelling the story, creating story maps, and labelling pictures with our names.

We also enjoy making up our own stories and bringing them to life using musical instruments and actions. Throughout the classroom, there are plenty of opportunities for writing in all areas. Each week, we learn new vocabulary linked to our current topic.
