Year 2 Science- Outdoor learning- Microhabitats

Class: Year 2B Year: 2025 - 2026

This half term in Science, we are exploring habitats. This week, the children investigated the microhabitats they could find around the school grounds and discussed the different creatures that might live in them.

They then created their own microhabitats, which we placed outside. We are looking forward to revisiting them next week to see whether any minibeasts have made themselves at home! 🐞🌿
