RHE: Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Lesson: Religious education
The session began in the hall, where the children had plenty of space to move freely as they explored the different ways their bodies can move. It started with an imaginative story about Freddy Teddy and Mollie the Cat going on a morning walk, during which the children acted out movements such as stretching, walking, jumping, and bending. This playful introduction helped them become more aware of their physical abilities in an engaging and enjoyable way. As the session continued, the children were encouraged to reflect on how special and unique their bodies are, recognising them as wonderful, God-given gifts.
