Piet Mondrian Art in Nursery

We are learning about shapes with four sides. We looked at pictures by Piet Mondrian, he used squares and rectangles in bright colours. We drew our own colourful pictures using squares and rectangles. While creating our art, we practised recognising shapes and colours. We also developed our fine motor skills by carefully drawing the shapes and colouring them in.
