Palm Sunday in Reception!

This week, we have been learning about Palm Sunday and its importance in the Easter story. The children enjoyed making their own palm leaves and using them as we talked about Jesus’ journey into Jerusalem.

We explored the story further through our tuff trays and had lots of fun retelling it on the stage using instruments on the stage to add sound and expression. The children also shared their thoughts by writing simple prayers and creating signs of Easter in the playdough.

It has been a lovely week of creativity, reflection, and storytelling as the children deepened their understanding of this special time.
