Height in Reception!

Lesson: Maths

Class: Rec S Year: 2025 - 2026

This week we have been learning about height and exploring how we can measure different things around us. The children talked about what it means to be tall or short and enjoyed standing next to their friends to see who was taller or shorter.

We also measured different animals from our small world area. The children enjoyed exploring and discussing which objects were taller, shorter, longer, or smaller.

It has been lovely to see the children so engaged and excited while learning about measurement through fun, hands-on activities!
