Geography - ‘What is it like where we live?’ A journey using maps.

This half term, the children have really enjoyed their Geography topic, ‘What is it like where we live?’ We have explored places that are near and far, discussed places we visit often and rarely, and learned how maps can help us find different places. The children particularly enjoyed going on a journey around our school grounds, exploring different areas and identifying the features and places we stopped at along the way. We then used our observations to help us create our own school maps. Super work, Year 1! We are so proud of your fantastic learning! 🌍🗺️
