Crucial Crew

Class: Year 6R Year: 2026 - 2027

Today, we visited Crucial Crew. We went around lots of different stations learning about how to keep ourselves safe. The Transport Police taught us about the dangers of playing near the train tracks, the nurses taught us about how important it is to get 9-11 hours of sleep. They also told us to stay away from screens and sugary drinks before bed! The Metrolink staff taught us about antisocial behaviour and how to stay safe when travelling. We then saw Victim Services who helped us sort through myths and facts about mental health and online safety. GMP taught us about cyberbullying and what to do if we see something online we dont like and Rochdale Council taught us about littering. It was a fantastic morning and we learnt so much!
