Baking Gingerbread Men!

This week in our EYFS class we have been learning about the story of the Gingerbread Man. The children really enjoyed listening to the story and joining in with the repeated phrase, “Run, run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!”

One of the highlights of the week was making our own gingerbread men. The children helped to mix the ingredients, roll out the dough and use cutters to make the shapes. The children were very excited to see their finished gingerbread men and were proud of what they had made. We even got to sit and eat them in the sun!!
