2B trip to Springfield Park Bees

Class: Year 2B Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 2 had an amazing day at Springfield Park, where they became beekeepers for the day! The children were incredibly brave as they handled bees from the hive, tasted delicious fresh honey, and even took home their own pot of honey. They also explored the important role of flowers and pollination through hands-on investigations before putting their teamwork and navigation skills to the test in a fun scavenger hunt and orienteering activity. It was a fantastic day of learning outdoors, and everyone had a wonderful time!
